The First Workshop was a Success!

The first Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) Workshop was a success with over 60 participants from the community. The evening started with a presentation by the City on the CWPP:

After the presentation, the community provided feedback on what Policies and Actions from the current City Wildland Fire Plan should be included in the new CWPP. The green dots indicated that the action is important to include in the new CWPP and the red dots were used to indicate that the action is not important to include in the new CWPP. A key foundation of the CWPP is the Community Base Maps. The Maps were available at the workshop for the community to view, ask questions about and provide comments.

Community members browse the collection of Community Base Maps made available on the night of the workshop.
